On July 20, 2025, Yandu Economic Development Zone (Yandu Subdistrict), Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, successfully signed a cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Kuntai Machinery Co., Ltd. for a lamination new materials project. The project is planned to invest 200 million yuan, acquire 30667m2 of land, and construct 46,000 square meters of new office, production facilities, and supporting infrastructure. It will introduce advanced equipment for lithium battery separator coating composites, as well as automated production lines for new materials such as sound-insulation thinsulates and carbon fiber. Implementation of this project will optimize and strengthen the local new materials industrial chain, drive intelligent upgrading of manufacturing, and provide strong momentum for high-quality development.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, the chairman stated that Kuntai's new facility will continue to focus on research and innovation in lamination and cutting equipment, with an emphasis on developing UD fabric production lines and lamination production lines for new materials such as carbon fiber.
