1. Cutting Machine Daily Maintenance

1.1 Let the oil pump run without load for 5 minutes before cutting machine cutting (More than 15 minutes in winter).

1.2 Clean the cutting machine surface after operation is completed every day.

1.3 Keep the setting systems clean.

1.4 Keep the electric parts clean and dry throughout the time.

Oil or other inflammable items should be kept away from the electrical apparatus elements and electrical meter box to avoid fire.

2. Cutting Machine Monthly Maintenance

2.1 Add lubricating oil to the slip shaft of the setting handle and clear out the dust.

2.2 Check and make sure the drive synchronous belt will not loose. If loose, pls make adjustment.

2.3 Check the oil pipe joints of the cutting machine and make sure they are locked with no oil leakage and that the oil pipes should not be in friction with other things when working. Otherwise, they will be damaged.

2.4 Check whether electric elements and their wirings are loose or not and check whether there is any damage caused by overheating.

In case of repair and maintenance of electrical parts of cutting machine, the input power of the machine should be closed or dismantle the machine’s power input wire, and hang warning signs (posted).

Doing a good job in the daily maintenance of cutting machine is to maintain good machine working performance and prolong its service life.

3. Cutting Machine Long-term Maintenance

3.1 The hydraulic oil of the oil tank must be changed after about 2500 hours. Especially for new machines, the first time oil should be changed after about 2000 hours. For machines newly installed or whose oil just be changed, the strainer must be cleaned after about 500 hours. If the oil pump noise increases, the strainer must be cleaned too.

When changing the hydraulic oil, the oil tank and oil screen must be thoroughly cleaned. The hydraulic oil level should be 30-50mm higher than the oil filter position.

3.2 Inspection and Maintenance of Hydraulic System of Cutting Machine

Only when the motors are completely stopped and have no pressure can the hydraulic system parts be removed or the hydraulic oil be changed. At the same time, the hydraulic oil should be completely cooled down. Otherwise, large quantity of hydraulic oil will be leaked, which will cause scald.

3.3 If the cutting machine will not be used for a long time, a serious clean-up of the machine should be done before storage.

3.4 Before starting a cutting machine which has not been used for a long time, a comprehensive maintenance should be done. For first time, the machine should be kept empty running for more than 30 minutes.
